Disconnect Switches

Disconnect switches are used to provide a local means to disconnect equipment for servicing and safety as required by the NEC. All units include a rotary type disconnect handle that complies with OSHA requirements being Lock Out - Tag Out. 

We offer Disconnects with or without supplemental circuit breakers. For added equipment protection, Supplemental Breakers (Type UL1077) help provide short circuit protection for equipment when used downstream of the primary serivce type breaker. An example would be when a long wiring run requires a service breaker rated larger than the protected equipment should use. In this case a lower Amp trip supplemental breaker provides a lowcost means to protect your equipment. 

This units are assemblied by Elimia and are UL508A certified.
